Tammy was the first woman executive to be hired to serve as Vertical’s Chief Marketing officer after steady participation in Missouri’s emerging medical cannabis scene. Prior to Missouri’s market launching, Tammy has been an investor and consultant in national markets and Canada as well as a freelancer for regional and national cannabis publications, including Greenway Media and MJBrand Insights. Tammy ports 25 years of experience in healthcare and telecom operations and customer relationship management.

What do you love most about working in the Cannabis Industry?
This is an industry where relationships are critical for success and to meet new people and connect them with one another gives me a great amount of fulfillment. We have the opportunity to write the narrative for how things COULD be and right the wrongs of prohibition.

Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
My Dad is my champion and always has been. He spent my lifetime teaching me the important lessons in life and that my future was mine to create - he gave me my integrity, my grit, and my ethics. Then he let me go make it happen encouraging me and listening without telling me what to do.
